Summit Sports is coming to the Grand Rapids area! We’re excited to announce that for the
2017-18 season we’ve partnered with the Cannonsburg Ski Area occupying their onsite retail
location previously known as “The Shop.”
In conjunction with our new partnership, we’re seeking qualified applicants to fill a variety of

Belmont, MI | Full-Time
The Assistant Manager is to assist with day-to- day activities in our stores. We enjoy selling Skis,
Snowboards, Kayaks, Stand up Paddleboards, Wakeboards, Wakesurfers, and much, much
more. If you have a passion for the outdoors, and enjoy working in a high energy retail
environment this could be the perfect job for you!
This position REQUIRES a person that enjoys people and selling outdoor products in a low-
pressure sales environment. Daily tasks include being the manager-on- duty, assisting
customers in store and over the phone, as well as picking/packing/shipping Internet orders as
needed, maintaining inventory, and general store upkeep. Learning and performing ski and
kayak repair/installation is another requirement of the position.
Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
 Must be able to work weekends.
 Great leadership skills
 Attention to detail
 Customer service skills
 Ability to effectively multi-task
 Love of the outdoors
 3+ years of Retail experience
 Skiing/snowboarding or kayaking experience
 Excellent organizational skills
 Ability to work with hand tools
